Liquid Asphaltic Composition is a two coat, cold applied damp proof membrane, which dries to a uniform gloss black finish. The coating is a solution of natural and petroleum bitumens in white spirit.
Subject to normal conditions of use LAC will provide an effective barrier to the transmission of liquid water and water vapour for the life of the structure. LAC retains its elasticity and will not crack or peel provided it is protected from mechanical damage and exposure to U.V. light.
