METPOST POST SUPPORTS

Metpost Post Supports are designed to allow the erection of fence posts in minutes without the need for digging holes or mixing concrete. Simply drive the Metpost Post Support into the ground with a sledge hammer an the 4 fin steel spike provides secure anchorage for your posts.
Two types of post grip are available.
Wedge Grip holds each post in a vice like grip, and will support timber widths varying by as much as 4mm.
System 2, a twin bolt, heavy duty system allowing even easier post installation and replacement but still maintaining a vice-like grip. Strong enough to withstand gale force winds, the twin bolt grip ensures a secure and long lasting fix for the varying widths of timber uprights of gazebos, pergolas, decking and a whole host of other garden structures. 72mm and 92mm metric System 2 Metpost Supports are also available or metric sized timber. Manufactured from heavy gauge steel, the rigid construction is finished with a specially formulated, durable, protective oxide coating with an environmentally friendly, water based primer paint finish which can be coloured as required to match fence posts and panels.

The Metpost holds fence posts above ground level which helps to protect the base of the wooden post against insect, fungal and water damage so ensuring a longer life.

METPOST BOLT DOWN

Metpost Bolt DownTo support fences, rose arches, decking, pergolas and car ports on an existing concrete base.
Where conditions do not allow the Metpost Post Support to be driven into the ground, such as on a concrete area, the Metpost Bolt Down provides an ideal solution.
It is particularly suitable for patio fencing, decking, pergolas, car ports and for fixing timber fencing to walls.
The Bolt Down is available to fit 50mm(2"), 75mm(3") and 100mm(4") timber posts. The 75mm(3") and 100mm(4") are available in both Wedge Grip and System 2 fixings.
72mm and 92mm metric Bolt Downs are also available for metric sized timber posts.
To install, simply use the Bolt Down as a template to mark holes for drilling. Secure to the concrete using four M8 x 10mm Rawlbolts.
The Metpost Bolt Down now provides a secure, stable base for your post.

Metpost FLUSH FITTING BOLT DOWN

The perfect fit for fixing posts on an existing concrete base to a flush surface.
The Metpost Flush fitting Bolt Down is ideal where circumstances dictate that a post should be fixed against a flush surface, or alternatively bolted onto a wall.
It is particularly suitable for patio fencing, decking, pergolas, car ports and for fixing timber fencing
to walls.
The Flush Fitting Bolt Down is available to fit 75mm(3") and 100mm(4") timber posts in both Wedge Grip and System 2 fixings.
To install, use the Flush Fitting Bolt Down as a template to mark holes for drilling.
Secure to the concrete using f0ur M8 x 10mm
Rawlbolts**.

Metpost CONCRETE-IN

Metpost Concrete InFor use where ground conditions prevent the use of Metpost Post Supports

The Metpost Concrete-In has been designed for use in hard-standing areas or areas where ground conditions prevent the use of Metpost Post Supports.
It can be used for fencing provided that an adequate concrete surround is installed (e.g. for 75mm fence posts the Concrete-In requires a minimum 450mm (18") cube of concrete) and should be checked frequently during installation for vertical and horizontal alignment.

The Metpost Concrete-In is ideal for car ports, pergolas and general fencing applications and is available in 75mm (3") and 100mm (4") sizes with a Wedge Grip fixing.

Metpost REPAIR SPUR

Metpost Repair SpurFor timber posts broken off in an existing concrete base.
The Metpost Repair Spur is the solution to the problem of rotted posts which have broken off at ground level but are in a sound concrete base.

Ideal for repairing gale damaged fencing, the Repair Spur is available in 75mm (3") and 100mm (4") sizes with Wedge Grip fixing.

Metpost POST EXTENDER

For raising the height of an existing fence without having to rebuild it.

The Metpost Post Extender enables you to increase the height of any existing fence that is supported by 75mm(3") or 100mm(4") posts. A decorative trellis or panel can then be easily added.

The sturdy box section utilises the Wedge Grip fixing and joins the existing post to the new post extension firmly and easily.

The brown plastic coating gives a long life finish to the Metpost Post Extender and is designed to blend in with your existing fencing.

The Metpost Post Extender is available in 75mm(3") and 100mm(4") sizes.
Please note: the Metpost Post Extender is recommended for use in raising the height of an existing fence up to a maximum of 1 metre (3ft 3").
